1. Receipt lines
Drop the supplier invoice, proforma or purchase order as CSV or Excel: columns (SKU, description, quantity, unit price, currency, weight, volume, HS code) are detected automatically, title rows and total rows are skipped. You can also paste rows copied from a spreadsheet into the table, or type them.
Detected columns. Change a column if it was matched wrongly; the table below updates.
| # | SKU | Description | Qty | Unit price | Currency | Weight | Volume | HS code |
|---|
2. Receipt and currencies
Exchange rates are typed by you (bank statement, payment confirmation or customs entry). No rate is fetched online.
3. Additional costs of the receipt
One row per bill: freight invoice, insurance, customs entry, broker invoice, bank or FX fees. Leave an amount empty to ignore the row. Choose how each cost is spread across the lines.
| Type | Label | Amount | Currency | Spread by |

Duty rates by HS code
If the duty amount is filled, it is spread in proportion to value × rate (the amount on the customs entry stays exact). If it is empty, the duty is computed from the rates. Rates are yours to check in the tariff of the importing country.
| HS code | Lines | Rate % |

4. Landed cost per SKU
Download
Recommended: drop your Shopify products export (Products › Export, CSV). The file you download keeps only Title, URL handle, the option columns, SKU and Cost per item, for the products on this receipt. Shopify replaces values only for the columns in the file, the others keep their current values. Import it in Products › Import with “Overwrite products with matching handles” ticked. Without an export you get a SKU and cost list, for the bulk editor or an import app.
Excel workbook with the allocation of every cost to every line, the costs and rates used and the checks. PDF summary of the receipt to file with the supplier invoice and the customs entry.
Frequently asked questions
Which allocation method should I use for each cost?
Freight usually follows weight (air, courier) or volume (sea). Insurance, ad valorem duties and bank fees follow value. If lines have different duty rates, use the HS code method so a 0% line does not carry duty paid on a 12% line.
How do I get the new costs into Shopify?
Drop your Shopify products export (Products › Export) and download a CSV with only Title, URL handle, the option columns, SKU and Cost per item for the products on the receipt. Import it with "Overwrite products with matching handles" ticked; other columns keep their values.
Is this a Stocky alternative?
Stocky is no longer available after August 31, 2026, according to Shopify's help center. This tool covers the landed cost part of receiving: cost per SKU and the Cost per item update, optionally as a weighted average with current stock. It does not manage purchase orders.
Are exchange rates fetched online?
No. You type the rates from your bank statement, payment confirmation or customs entry. No rate is fetched and no file is sent anywhere.
What does it cost?
The full allocation is shown on screen before you pay. Downloading the Shopify CSV, Excel workbook and PDF summary costs $4.99 for 24 hours of access or
